As part of the project “Protection and Sustainable Management of the Bijagós Archipelago”, funded by Rainforest Trust, the PRCM is launching a call for proposals to conduct a study and develop an action plan for the monitoring and conservation of marine mammals in the Bolama-Bijagós Archipelago.
Objectives:
• Strengthen knowledge of marine mammal species and their habitats;
• Identify and map critical areas;
• Develop a monitoring and data collection system;
• Train local stakeholders in marine mammal monitoring;
• Formulate practical recommendations for their conservation.
Project Area: Bolama-Bijagós Archipelago, Guinea-Bissau
Application Deadline: July 3, 2026
Consultants, consulting firms, research institutions, and organizations with expertise in marine ecology, biodiversity conservation, or marine mammal monitoring are invited to submit their applications.
